This is the first year of the Tween Theatre program. Participants will be exposed to all phases of a theatre production from acting, voice, dance and stage movement to costume, make-up and set building. Experience is not necessary, but children should be eager to learn and apply themselves. This is a fun, but intense theatre program. Regular attendance is expected and needed to make the show a success. This year's show is Seussical Jr.
The show will be performed for the public on Friday, November 21 (evening), Saturday, November 22 (matinee and evening) and Sunday, November 23 (matinee). Cast party & strike will follow on Sunday, November 23. Program meets 6 Wednesdays, 1 Saturday and 9 Sundays. Program dates are Sundays 9/21-11/16, 3p-6p; Wednesdays 9/24, 10/15-11/5, 11/19, 4p-5:30p (7p-8:30p on We 11/19); Saturday 11/15, 11a-4p. Length: 16 meetings + shows.
